Timetable
The desired timetable for web site design will be agreed with you at the outset. If you have a particular deadline in mind, we will try to accommodate this subject to prior commitments.
As a guide, a small website could easily be live within ten working days. However, we find that delays are commonly due to clients' uncertainty and lack of prepared content. To counter this, we normally go through a defined consultation process, giving you the chance to ask questions, clarify your expectations and prepare your materials.
Web Design Prices
Our prices are competitive and offer great value for quality websites. All prices include a .uk domain and basic web hosting for one year.
A single page 'business card' site will get you started from £99 and a typical 8-10 page static site costs around £350 - £500. Actual costs depend on the nature of the content, for example, if you have lots of images that need to be web-readied, this will increase the price. Domain Names
A .uk domain name is included in every design package. We can advise you about choosing a name appropriate for you needs, or buying further domains if you need them.
Web Hosting
All our web design packages include one year's basic web hosting, plus as a minimum:
- 100MB web space
- 1500MB data transfer
- Unlimited email forwarding;
- 15 POP3 Email boxes;
- FTP Access;
- Website statistics.
Search Engine Optimisation
KatyWeb will build in basic search engine optimsation to your pages. We will help you to decide on keywords and phrases that can form effective title and meta tags and content wording. We will also manually submit your completed site to Google, Yahoo and DMOZ free of charge.

Re-Design
If your site has been around for a few years it might benefit from structural as well as content updates. Technologies and design methods change and web accessibility is now a legal requirement.

WebSite Maintenance
If you already have a website but no time to keep it up to date, we can help you by agreeing a regular amount of time each month to work on your site, building new pages or updating content as you need it. For more details please see our website maintenance information.
Web Design Copyright
We will assign the copyright in our site design to you once our contract with you is performed. This means you are free to alter your design and update your website, or of course, we will be happy to do this for you under a website maintenance agreement.
Payments, Terms and Conditions
We normally require a 20% deposit with the balance payable on completion. However this may vary according to the complexity and amount of work required.
