Q. How much update time do I get?
A. We will agree to carry out a set number of hours work for you over an agreed time period. This is normally a monthly period however more frequent, even daily updates, can be scheduled. Just send us your update requirements, including the amount of time you currently spend and the nature of updates you will need. We will get back to you with a competitive quote.
Q. What if I need more time or I don't use my allocated hours?
A. If we work more hours than we agreed then will bill you for additional hours at an agreed rate. We regret that unused hours cannot be carried over but we suggest an initial month contract - this will help to judge more effectively the amount of time required.
Q. How long will a maintenance contract last?
A. This does depend on your site and the amount of web updates you need. We suggest an initial month contract to assess your needs. We can then contract for 3 month, 6 month or 12 month programmes. If you are seeking to look after your site yourself, we can make this easy for you by setting up a content management system (CMS). A CMS means you can maintain your website without the need for you to know web code or programming.
This will require an initial investment. The cost will depend on what you need the CMS to do, the software solution you choose and the amount of work required to prepare your existing site.
